These gluten free baos are delicious and versatile. You can stuff them with pretty much any filling you can think of! Our most recent creation was coronation egg mayo. So good!
I haven’t tried to microwave them yet but they are very easy to steam. Highly recommend!!
Love that I have a gluten free, bread like option available with these bao, and I decided to color outside the lines a bit.
I miss having a good old fashioned PB&J sandwich since I have opted to limit my gluten consumption, and these bao do the trick for me!
This was my first attempt, and it tasted great, but the folded bao was not as filling friendly as I would have liked Just not enough PB & J to bao ratio.
Then I got the idea to use TWO bao, and after heating them as directed, flattened them into two circles and made the sandwich that way. Problem solved!
So, not a traditional use for bao, and I hope I am not guilty of bao heresy,but I really like my own version of an "Uncrustable" PB&J sandwich, without the gluten!
these are delicious and so easy to make! we made them with air fried pork belly and a napa cabbage slaw and they were unbelievable! will definitely order again!
