If you've ever been to a hot dog stand, you know that they prepare their buns in a steamer. Thus, our steamed gluten free bao buns are the perfect replacement for the boring old hot dog bun!

This version is recreates the classic Chicago-style hot dog, which comes fully loaded with pickles, onions, tomato and peppers, but there's no wrong way to eat a hot dog!. Feel free to add or subtract whatever toppings you desire!

Ingredients:

  • 4 Gluten Free Bao Company buns
  • 4 all beef hot dogs
  • 4 fresh tomato wedges
  • 4 dill pickle spears
  • yellow mustard
  • sweet green pickle relish
  • diced onion
  • 8 sport peppers
  • celery salt

Directions:

  • Grill, steam, or boil hot dogs as preferred per manufacturers instructions.
  • Steam Gluten Free Bao Company buns per instructions on package.
  • Place 1 hot dog in a steamed bun.
  • Insert a tomato wedge on one side of the hot dog, and a pickle spear on the other.
  • Add mustard, relish, and diced onion. Top with 2 sport peppers.
  • Sprinkle with celery salt to taste and enjoy!
